How does Canwealth make money?

Our way of doing business is very similar to that of a bank, lending mortgages and earning interest on a monthly basis, and then distributing dividends to our investors. However, to some extent, Canwealth is different. Our main loan category is the first loan and the second loan; therefore, we will charge a higher interest rate. On average, our mortgages interests range from 8.5% to 15% per annum.

How do I monitor my investments?

We pay out dividends quarterly and send quarterly statements with your account details as well as a summary of the overall MIC portfolio. We also provide our annual audited financial statements to our investors.

Is Canwealth able to provide a fixed investment rate?

According to relevant laws and regulations, MIC can not make a clear promise to investors with a fixed return on the proceeds. As of August  31st, 2017,  we have reached an annual mortgage interest rate of 9% and above, and all loans must have 100% of the high-quality real estates as collateral and personal guarantees, hence we can still achieve the target return rate.
